By accessing or using Metups ("Platform") at metups.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

We strongly recommend meeting in public places during daylight hours, bringing a trusted person, and verifying items before payment.

You retain ownership of content you post. By posting, you grant Metups a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content for platform operation. We may remove any content that violates these Terms without notice.
Basic listing and buying on Metups is currently free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce premium features with 30 days' advance notice. Metups does not process payments between buyers and sellers — all financial transactions are private arrangements between parties.
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. METUPS IS NOT LIABLE FOR LOSS OR DAMAGE ARISING FROM TRANSACTIONS BETWEEN USERS, PERSONAL INJURY DURING MEETUPS, OR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. Our maximum liability shall not exceed USD 100.
You may close your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms. Your data will be handled per our Privacy Policy.
